Galentines Get-together

Posted by Jo Jeffery on

Pandora Maxton invites her friends round for a Galentines gathering.

Bringing her friends together and styling a table. There's little stylist Pandora Maxton loves more than these two things. So we knew when we set her a Galentines challenge the results would be super inspiring. And a lot of fun.

A pink gingham tablecloth was a great starting point for the theme. I filled both large and small vases with lots of roses and tulips in various shades of pinks and reds. I often use different shades of one colour as it’s really effective in giving depth and interest to the arrangement. For the large central vase, I placed an upside down wine glass in the middle, added water, and arranged flowers inside it. The base of the wine glass serves as a perfect platform for a pillar candle, making this a lovely centerpiece for your table. I also added lots of candles down the centre of the table to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The napkins are tied with raffia, and I added pink sweets and a strawberry for a fun touch. To enhance the cosy vibe, I added battery-operated string lights down the centre of the table. The bright placemats pop beautifully against the gingham. I typically use white dinnerware, which gives the table a fresh, clean look. The key to creating a lovely, inviting table is layering.
