Flowers make us happy - Sussie Bell

Posted by Alice White on

A photographer by trade, an artist and floral lover at heart, Sussie says she loves anything that grows.

“The beauty of nature and light is what feeds my soul.”

Sussie has worked alongside Selina Lake on many projects, perfectly capturing the natural beauty of their subjects.

“Nothing says May to me more than the billowing clouds of cow parsley along the country lanes.

It’s light and delicate, almost floating above the ground and brings a magic and beauty to where ever it grows. A few have self seeded in our garden and I feel privileged to have them there. It’s fleeting and ephemeral which summons up spring and all it’s blossom.

Get out there and enjoy it while you can.”
