A candle for everyone

Posted by Alice White on

A candle signifies a special day for every once a year; the candle is the moment when we all stop and put the VIP in the spotlight; friends and family come together to sing and of course take that special photo to share and keep as a memory or send to absent loved ones. There are candles for us all – be that a number 100 for Captain Tom; a football boot for the footie fan in the family; a racing car candle for the wheel crazed member of the clan, or something elegantly refined for Mum.

We understand that the current Covid19 crisis has meant that birthdays are celebrated in a new way and here at Talking Tables we are encouraging people to carry on celebrating. We understand the importance of marking special occasions so have been hosting virtual parties, sending birthday bundles in the post and ensuring that every birthday is still exceptional. If you can’t be with your loved one on their birthday, why not pop some candles in the post to them and all gather online to sing happy birthday by video call, here Alice’s birthday from earlier this year:

How do you celebrate the birthdays of your loved ones? What memories do you have of your special birthdays? Have you ever made a birthday wish that came true? We’d love to hear from you about your celebrations.

Be sure to check out our unique selection of Birthday Candles, they come in a variety of themes, shapes and styles.
