Each month one host gathers together colleagues from across the business to laugh, chat and get to know each other better. We call this Trudy’s Table. The host will choose their theme based on a Talking Tables range and build their table using these products plus additional props right here in London.

Kate, Creative Director, hosted her very own Botanical Nutcracker gathering to get us all in the festive spirit. 

We spoke to Kate after to find out more about her inspiration and what she enjoyed most.

Did you enjoy the experience of hosting your gathering?

Yes I did. I enjoyed bringing together a group of people you might not have normally spent time together. Once everyone had relaxed into the occasion, there was a lot of laughter around the table.

What made it extra special for you?

Having the table decorated and themed instantly got us all in the Christmas mood. The music was essential to fill the silences and add even more to the Christmas magic.

The twinkling lights and candles gave the table a warm, cosy glow.

The games we played really got everyone involved and engaged with one another, and we had a lot of laughs playing them.

What impact did Talking Tables' product have on the table?

Having a themed Nutcracker table really helped set the tone for Christmas.

The colours of red and green, plus the lights helped to set the mood, and the graphic icon of the Nutcracker on the crackers, napkins and table decorations tied the whole theme together.

The games made the evening, and made the event much more memorable.
