Trudy's Table - Damian's Spooktacular Spread
Each month one team member gathers together colleagues from across the business to laugh, chat and get to know each other better. We call this Trudy’s Table. The host will choose their theme based on a Talking Tables range and build their table using these products plus additional props right here in London.
Damian hosted a Halloween Trudy's Table. Damian chose some of our spooktacular items from our Skeleton Crew range and got everyone crafting too!
We interviewed Damian to find out a little bit more.
Did you enjoy the experience of hosting your gathering?
I sure did! It was a fun experience to be Trudy for the day. It’s great to gather people together, host an event that gets everyone talking, laughing and being crafty.
What made it extra special for you?
I think seeing all my guests engaged with one another and pumpkin carving too. We all had so much fun carving the pumpkins, I think we surprised ourselves. For some of us it was our very first time!
What impact did Talking Tables' product have on the table?
Our products bring the table to life and help the table setting to stand out. Gold plates, spider web napkins and skeleton garland helped to make table spooky. Long candles were a great addition to put us in the Halloween mood.
Who would you dream guest(s) be?
That’s a “trick not so treat” question as there is so many people I would love to invite. In true Halloween spirit, I would love to have Tim Burton join us. I think it would be amazing to have him there and share some spooky stories.
