Trudy's Table - Charlotte's 2020

Posted by Clare Brown on

Each month one host gathers together colleagues from across the business to laugh, chat and get to know each other better. We call this Trudy’s Table. The host will choose their theme based on a Talking Tables range and build their table using these products plus additional props right here in London.

Charlotte, Marketing Artworker, hosted a 2020 gathering to remember using our Luxe Gold collection.

We spoke to Charlotte after to find out more about her inspiration and what she enjoyed most.

Did you enjoy the experience of hosting your gathering?

I really enjoyed it! It was great to think about what would be needed for a New Years Eve party as it’s a celebration for everyone. With this in mind a lot of thought went behind which products would make everyone feel special. I really enjoyed the preparations before, putting on music and getting in the mood while decorating. It was a party in itself!

What made it extra special for you?

The fact the occasion was for such a special time. The turn of the decade!

What impact did Talking Tables' product have on the table?

I carefully selected which products to use to make everyone’s experience special. Choosing a gold palette lent itself well to the turn of a new decade as well complementing tableware we already had. The 2020 headband was the perfect party piece to really break the ice between guests with everyone donning each other with their crowns. The Luxe Gold table runner acted as the perfect table staple as it worked hard the whole way through, from having food laid on top to being the backdrop to games later in the night.

Who would you dream guest(s) be?

My dream guest would be David Attenborough!
