Talking Trends: Bon Appetit

Bon Appetit inspiration collage

Behind the design of our home bistro-inspired tableware Bon Appetit.

A collection that celebrates the joy of relaxed, bistro-style living at home. Inspired by the effortless charm of Mediterranean cafés and outdoor dining, the range embraces a more casual way of entertaining. Think fresh, good-quality bread, generous cheese platters, and colourful seasonal fruit and vegetables shared around the table, rather than a formal three-course meal.

The collection playfully celebrates produce, with brightly coloured, multi-dipped enamel pieces sitting alongside ceramics, while stripe accents bring a laid back café and picnic-inspired feel. Loose, hand-drawn elements and a woodcut-style effect give the designs a crafted, characterful look that feels both nostalgic and modern.

Designed by our in-house by our Senior Designer Melanie. The range has now evolved and we’ve introduced a few thoughtful updates. New icons appear across the enamel pieces, adding playful details that celebrate the food-first spirit of the collection. Candlesticks feature subtle iridescent flares to bring a soft glow and added dimension to the table. Our square napkins have also been refreshed to a larger, long lunch format, while still keeping the relaxed, hand-drawn aesthetic that defines the range.

We have also refined the Bon colour palette by introducing a few new trend-led shades and creating a more limited palette that works seamlessly across the SS26 collection. Our Bon Appetit collection encourages easy entertaining and brings a touch of continental charm to your kitchen and table.
