Staying Sustainable With The TT Swap Shop

Posted by Beth Pickard on

As I’m sure you’ve heard by now we are on our journey to becoming B-Corp certified, via a multitude of avenues, both within our product offering and also our internal processes as an office. This month we decided to put on a clothes swap shop in the office. The team was encouraged to bring in items of clothing they no longer wear, which could be swapped for other items! A fun and sustainable way to gain a whole new outfit or two, for free!

We were surprised by just how many people got involved and brought in some amazing clothing, spanning all seasons and styles. Laid out in the sunshine outside the Talking Tables office everyone enjoyed looking through the selection and picking out something new. With any items left over we took them to our local charity shop, so that they can still be loved again! We’re looking forward to doing another swap shop in the coming months and encourage others to give it a go with colleagues or friends!
