Missing Glastonbury

Posted by on

We're all very sad to be missing the 50th anniversary Glastonbury Festival this weekend and have been reminiscing about our fondest memories. Our favourite was from department store retail buyer, Emma, as it really encapsulates the emotion of the festival.

"I think one of my favourites still has to be from my very first Glastonbury when my friends walked me up to the famous Glastonbury sign, covering my eyes and ensuring the whole way up that I didn't turn around.  Once we were finally at the very top they turned me round, let me open my eyes and I was just stunned at the enormity and amazingness of this giant playground in front of me - I had officially made it!!  That wow moment has always stuck with me, and it has become a bit of a ritual to do the same for any of our friends on their first Glasto.  Sadly my picture of this is very old and is now shockingly bad quality!

There are also the classic Glastonbury sunsets which are also unforgettable.

To say I am missing it this year is an understatement, but the countdown is well and truly on for next year"

We couldn't agree more!
