3 interior trends we’re loving right now
One thing we love about summer is that people are not afraid to use bright colours, in both their fashion and homes, and this year it looks like colour is going to be sticking around in a big way. We’ve loved pouring over recent interiors magazines, inspirational Instagram accounts and tiktoks and seeing what bright summer trends are being championed within the home. Here are three that stand out to us, plus some bright Talking Tables homeware items that fit them perfectly...
We do like to be beside the seaside
As Sarah Keady said in the recent issue of House Beautiful ‘nothing says summer like being by the sea and with a few simple tweaks, it’s easy to bring that feelgood factor into your home’. The coastal trend has made a real comeback this season, and with staycations now bigger than ever we love the idea of transforming a space into your own seaside setting, whether you’re actually near the sea or not. This trend is all about blue hues, white and natural shades and materials you’ll find in classic seaside scenes. Stripes and nautical accessories add a touch of childhood nostalgia we simply love.
Two-tone colour pop
Something we’ve noticed pop up more and more within homeware is two-toned products. Bright candles, crockery, glassware and ceramics in two bright distinguishable colours which really catch your eye. These pops of colour make a real statement in the home. Beige be gone!

Bringing the outdoors in
Now you already know how much we love outdoor gatherings, alfresco dining and generally making the most of beautiful gardens and nature. So much so that we think bringing nature inside is a great way to style your home. Aside from filling your home with actual plants and flowers (which we love!) you can make use of botanical prints and natural green shades to bring the outdoors in. We love citrus designs and tropical touches which add that eye-catching colour pop.
