Lovely quality gingham tea towels!

I received this item via the vine programme and here is my honest and unbiased review. Excellent quality tea towels, very pleased, wash well. Nice! 5 stars!

Talking Tables 2 x Red Gingham Kitchen Tea Towels

These are good quality Tea Towels, however I don’t think they are too much different to most tea towels, this is no bad thing of course. The tea towels are well made, the seams are strong and there have been no threads. These are a thinner tea towel, they do absorb water well but soon become too wet to be effective so I end up reaching for the second one, maybe you could say they work too well?! I have no complaints about the tea towels, they are well made and do exactly what they should. I should add that they wash well too and have not lost their shape or colour. Recommended

Quite thin drying towels

These towels were ordered to replace several I have thrown out recently. I have also bought a pack of 7 from a local high street chain for basically the same price. Although they are large, they are ok for drying dishes for two people, however I feel they are a little expensive for what you get. Look quite nice hanging up and dry quickly though.

A Sustainable Kitchen Staple

These Talking Tables tea towels are nice with their traditional red gingham pattern. They effectively dry glass and mirrors, leaving no lint, which I appreciate. Why people mess around with newspaper and micro clothes, I haven't a clue. While not the thickest, they clean easily and are a sustainable choice. However, I’m unconvinced about the British branding since the country of manufacture isn’t specified. Overall, they’re a smart, reliable option for my kitchen.

Really Effective for Drying my Dishes!

These t-towels are of a decent quality and although quite thin, they do dry the dishes quite effectively. I have noticed how wet the towel becomes after drying a few dishes, glasses and cutlery, but I hang it up and it dries pretty quickly. When using these, I found them to be effective straight out of the pack without any shedding or pieces of fibre ending up on the plates whilst drying them. It doesn't take too much of a rub either before the dishes are completely dry. The material is nice and I do like the Red Gingham design, they certainly brighten up the kitchen. These t-towels are also stitched very neatly throughout and with no loose threads. These are 90% cotton and therefore are more effective at drying overall. They are nice to use and feel soft and comfortable against my hands whilst drying. The t-towels are of a decent size and although they are listed to be for possible use as napkins, I think they may be a bit too large for that and will continue to use mine as t-towels. I have used mine quite a lot now and since they continue to be of a pretty decent quality, I would certainly recommend them.
