Will's pheasant table

Having just moved from a flat to a house, Christmas will be an exciting time for me to have my whole family round and entertain. Owning a dining table for the first time has inspired me to create a festive Christmas tablescape after seeing this craze take off last year.

As my siblings are now all grown up, I wanted to go for a more sophisticated Christmas table setting this year. Growing up in the countryside, pheasants were a common sighting and bring back nostalgic memories of family walks through the woodlands. That’s why, when I saw the Botanical Pheasant range, I knew it was the perfect theme for my table.

After laying down a tablecloth I set to work and used our gold bauble place card holders and pheasant Christmas napkins to mark out place settings for each of my family members. Pulling the crackers is one of our favourite traditions on Christmas day and the terrible jokes always have us in fits of laughter. Trying to be more eco-conscious, I loved to see that the matching pheasant Christmas crackers were fully recyclable and plastic free.

To add the finishing touches, our best-selling red and green dinner candles and glass candlestick holders were the perfect products to pull the table together. When lit with our extra-long matches, these candles created a warming atmosphere and burned all through the evening. Everyone commented on how lovely they are and I’m sure to reuse them for many occasions throughout the year.
