For my Valentines table, I wanted to steer clear from the typical red roses and traditional couple’s date night so instead I chose to gather some friends for a fun and light hearted breakfast.

The beautiful new colours of the candle holders and spiral candles helped me choose my colour palette of dusky pinks and greens which gave a very fresh and light feel to the table. The greens in the botanical All for Love napkin were the perfect accents to decorate the silver plates I used, which also reflected some of the heart string lights I wove down the centre of the table, creating a beautiful yet subtle twinkle.

For breakfast food we ate waffles with plenty of fresh berries and maple syrup! I also served pink grapefruit juice in fancy glasses, making the occasion feel more special but also again fitting perfectly with the colour scheme.

I used gorgeous fresh blooms from Blossom & Threads florist which adorned the new green and plum coloured bud vases. These worked very effectively to add some varying height to the table which alternated in between the glass candle holders and spiral candles.
