Our Chinese New Year Tablescape

Chinese New Year is a time for coming together. Here's how we celebrated at Talking Tables. We first laid the table with lots of layers starting from a fresh white table cover as a base layer. We then layered over a bamboo runner, four large red sparkly place mats, red and white plates and bowls and finally laid our new gold star napkin on the top. This was the perfect occasion to bring out our favourite red dinner candles and glass candle holders which worked well down the centre with string lights woven in between to add an extra twinkle into the evening.
