Senior Merchandiser

We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our Grocery Hub team and lead the merchandising functions with support of the junior merchandiser. You will be expected to have a background of working with the supermarket chains and have dealt with delivering stock either DDP, EXW, FOB.  You will be ensuring our customers stock is delivered on time and in full!  You must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the booking in process for FOB orders and dealing with Chinese factories delivering both LCL and FCL consignments. The role is very fast paced, and you will be expected to work quickly but accurately to meet our customer’s high expectations.  You will report into the Commercial Manager and work closely with the Account Managers across our key customer accounts.

  • Knowledge of delivering orders DDP, EXW, FOB, preferably supplying supermarkets
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Outlook
  • Ability to prioritise is a must
  • Multi tasker and a quick learner

Social Media Manager

Design Manager

As the Design Manager it is your responsibility to lead the creative design team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the design department. They ensure that design excellence is achieved on every brief to the brand and customer expectations of the business, within the agreed budget and timeline.

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in a similar role, and at least 5 years experience in an in-house Studio. You must have commercial design experience, and be familiar with a fast paced environment.

  • BA Hons degree or equivalent in Art & Design, Graphics, Illustrations or similar
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with a strong emphasis on Illustrator
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Able to differentiate design positioning for different markets (UK, US, EU) and different sectors (premium department store; grocery)
  • Have an understanding of colour management (ISO 12647) and a good knowledge of manufacturing processes and their impact on design.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense with a keen eye for detail
  • A team player, natural and authentic leadership skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, handles pressure well, calm and efficient
  • Great communication skills, extremely organised and able to deliver to a deadline
  • A self-starter with initiative and a can-do, positive attitude
  • A genuine interest in party products and how customers use them

4. Translations: Are you multi-lingual? we would love support to translate our listings to other European languages such as German, French, Spanish and Italian.
