Autumnal Thanksgiving tablescape
Clare says:
I consciously tried something new for this table. I wanted some china that was not in my kitchen cupboard and excitedly hired some from Maison Margaux. As I normally use white china, so I went for something very different: their Vienna range. As Thanks Giving is with us, and the trees outside at their glorious autumnal best, I linked the two. I was able to take some grasses and the very last of my dahlia from the garden and interweave with some dried grasses for a light, airy feel down the middle of the table. I layered in some cheat’s white pumpkins. We ate as the night drew in, so enjoyed multiple lights and candles weaved through the table. It all made a great change and hiring china helped me to throw in a more radical change.
