Amy's casino table

Amy says:

Post lockdown, we’ve all been searching for a reason to put on our glad rags, get together and let our hair down. Hosting an evening centred around the Talking Tables Casino Night felt like the perfect opportunity to glam up both myself and the dinner table!

The contents of the game were the stars of the show and the green of the poker mat plus gold of the roulette wheel inspired the overall colour scheme. I positioned the roulette wheel at the end of the table which meant we could dip in and out of play to eat, drink and chat. Including poker, blackjack and roulette, the variety of games kept us entertained for hours and brought out some (healthy) competition!

I kept the rest of the table fairly minimal, using the Talking Tables Luxe napkin and gold bauble placecard holders to add sophistication. The green candles in tall gold holders complimented the rest of the table and created some height.

I love the versatility of the Talking Tables pineapple ice bucket, which worked at keeping the fizz chilled but also getting the table talking. And table lights aren’t just for tables! I draped Talking Tables lights up the stairway and added Talking Tables bottle lights on the window ledge to add extra sparkle. Hanging decs are a great finishing touch to make the room feel a little more special.

We were laughing, catching up and placing our bets long into the evening.
