We are collaborating with the National Garden Scheme again!

Posted by Beth Pickard on

We are very excited to be collaborating with the National Garden Scheme on their Great British Garden Party campaign for the second year running. You may have followed along last summer when we first collaborated with the scheme and spent many sunny afternoons hosting and joining tea parties with colleagues, family and friends to raise awareness and fund for the NGS.
The event raises funds for important nursing and health charities and once again Talking Tables will be donating 5% of sales of our Truly Scrumptious table ranges between April and September. With 4 ranges of whimsical and traditional designs these ranges are perfect for putting on your very own Great British Garden Party this summer, whether in a blooming garden, quaint balcony or front patio bathed in sunshine. The official Great British Garden Party dates are Saturday 16th – Sunday 24th July, but you can choose any day across the summer that is best for you.

Dame Mary Berry, president of the National Garden Scheme and undisputed Queen of Cakes, commented: “We’re inviting everyone - it doesn’t matter whether your garden is large or small, tidy or untidy - to join in and help raise funds for vital nursing and health charities; charities that so many of us, our family and friends often rely on in times of need. Your garden party could be anything from a barbecue or family bake-off, prosecco by candlelight, a coffee morning and book swap or even a plant and produce sale by the front gate – the choice is yours and everyone can get involved.”
Keep an eye on our blog to hear more updates from our collaboration with the National Garden Scheme, and see some great British tea party content!
