Merci - Upcycling: A New Lease on Life

Posted by Clare Brown on

In September we attended an exhibition held at Merci, Paris, titled: “Upcycling: A New Lease on Life”. The exhibition is a reflection on our society, a step back to contemplate our behaviours, which Merci have always striven to cultivate.

The exhibition encourages and promotes upcycling with the desire to bring things back to life. We saw glassware, fashion accessories, homeware and table accessories all made from previously discarded or recycled items.

The exhibition is in the entrance of the store and even includes their infamous Fiat in the courtyard. It is on for the entirety of September and we would highly recommend a visit if you have a trip planned!

Our very own Luxe Bottle lights are the perfect example of upcycling at home.
