Get Ready for a Right Royal Spectacle

Posted by Jo Jeffery on

Are you ready for this year’s biggest celebration? From neighbourhood street party, to garden gathering for friends and family, we're making it easy and eco to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Get ready for a long bank holiday of weekend of gatherings this June 2-5th.

All items in our Right Royal Spectacle collection are plastic free, recyclable or reusable. We've even created the world's first plastic free and home recyclable hot drinks paper cups. Now there's an added cause for celebration.

The collection includes everything you could possibly need to theme your party. There’s a choice of paper and fabric (organic cotton of course) bunting, napkins, plates, fun dress up glasses and crowns, balloons and streamers. There’s even a reversible cake stand and cake toppers.

The paper products are all recyclable and by that we mean home recyclable – just pop them in your recycle bin when you are finished with them. And plastic isn’t invited to the party. For example, our napkins are packaged in card with a cut out window, minus the film. To keep them pristine we’ve popped an extra one at the front to protect the others.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the collection, designer Melanie Watt explains: “My aim was to give this collection a hand painted and retro feel, a more elevated look than your run of the mill Jubilee products. Although the items are paper, I wanted to give the impression of texture rather than being flat. I looked at original 1950s Coronation items, like tea towels for inspiration. Then added an element of humour to bring it up to date and provide a talking point for the table.”
