We were recently joined in the office by Bianca from Babel, who put on an amazing candle painting workshop for us. At Talking Tables we love candles and incorporate them in most of our tables and events. Over the last couple of years we have seen a huge trend in homeware taking off, and people wanting to make their spaces cosy and unique. Bianca hand paints on beautiful candles as well as bespoke to order designs. These make the perfect gift or statement for the home. We loved this idea and wanted to give it a go ourselves with one of her workshops.

Bianca set everyone up with coloured candles and paints and displayed her own designed candles as some inspiration. The first hurdle was to decide on what to paint, with many of the team opting for festive designs, flowers or animals. This really showed who the artistic team members are, though everyone’s candles ended up looking beautiful.
