Grace's Spanish table

I have such fond memories of a family camping holiday we took to Northern Spain. I was completely struck by the rich green landscape of the Basque Country among many other things. This experience in turn, became the initial inspiration for my table. I also wanted to highlight the Citrus collection as it’s not only one of my favourite designs that we do, but I thought it really fit the Spanish theme I was going for. The Citrus design on the napkins and cups introduced a much-needed pop of colour among the wild greenery and white crispness of the tablecloth and streams of bunting. I used local florist Blossom and Threads to construct an all natural centre piece and experimented with placing playful sprigs of green to the place settings. We had a range of delicious small plates from Carmen Tapas and washed it down with home brewed Sangria. My aim was to impart a sensation of freshness and fun for my guests, because, in essence, those were the lasting impressions I gained from this wonderfully unique and culturally wealthy part of the world.
